Description
The limited edition 12-year-old (Autumn Edition) Scottish single malt whiskey Port Askaig from the island of Islay reflects the typical aromas and tastes of its place of origin. It mixes whiskey from nine American oak barrels, five Oloroso sherry barrels and three sherry solera barrels. The result is a flavored singlemalt with smoky and fruity tones permeated with the typical aroma of whiskey from the seashore.
Unfiltered, without added dye.
Made only in a limited number of 9000 bottles.
Aroma : cranberries, smoky-smoked bacon tones, black cherries, English Christmas pudding
Taste : red grapes, rotting alluvial wood, dry seaweed, cherry tomatoes, hawthorn
